THE GRENADA RISING SEAS PROJECT
Grenada, like many other small island developing states, is struggling to cope with the devastating effects of global warming. Rising seas and increasingly intense storms will dramatically transform the country’s coastal environment in coming decades, bringing enormous economic and social costs. The impact of these changes is already evident in the capital St. George’s, where rising seas and storm surge threaten this historic inner harbor.
